Title: Henry Street West Bromwich
Post by: treddz on Monday 17 February 14 12:45 GMT (UK)
Can anyone tell me where Henry Street, West Bromwich is please.
I know it was still there in the 1911 census.
Google keeps going to New Henry Street in Oldbury.
Thank you

Wakelin's Guide (no year unfortunately) says it's Great Bridge  St. to Charles St.
Charles St. leads to Phoenix St. Dudley St, Swan Village.
I hope you can follow this, there aren't any diagrams as in A-Z books.

If you have the family in the 1911 census have a look around the neighbours - you are likely to eventually come across a street that still exists today which will give you a starting point in finding Henry Street. It is a matter of just trying to locate it on a modern map and possibly comparing it with an old map (www.old-maps.co.uk).
Good luck.
