This is a huge challenge. This is my grandmother taken in June 1940. The original I have is less than one by one inch, so its enlarged form looks pretty damaged. I would be hugely grateful if anyone could take on the challenge. Any effort will be gratefully received.
My gran was an amazing woman. She raised eight children of her own, and three of her brothers when her sister-in-law died in childbirth. She was an amazing dressmaker, although she went blind not too long after this photo was taken. She was still able to sew, and could produce amazing clothes for her children. I would love to see this restored.

I hope this bears some resemblance of your grandmother, it was badly damaged & I had problems working out what was what! hope you get a lot more replies, Ken.

Thank you so much. My gran had lovely blue eyes before she went blind. You captured them well. I appreciate the photo was very damaged. I really appreciate your time and effort. Thank you
