Title: St Giles Cripplegate marriage 1819
Post by: Eyesee on Saturday 25 January 14 00:02 GMT (UK)
Joseph CLAPHAM married Sarah Susannah TOMLIENS at St Giles Cripplegate, London on 18 Apr 1819.

One of the witnesses was James Barlow, and the other was John Henry someone. Can anyone make out what John Henry's surname was.

He was also a witness at the following marriage in the register of William DAY and Harriet, on the same day.

James Barlow must have been the Parish Witness I think as he witnesses quite a few marriages. John Henry is only at these two, but need his surname so I can find out about him

Thanks
Ian C

Hi Eyesee,

It looks to me like John Henry's surname might be Breveson? but not certain.

Hope this helps anyway.

Kind regards

David

I'm wondering if it might be Pearson.

I saw it as Pearson too before I saw GS's answer.
