I would appreciate any help in searching for Sarah green born 1885 in Ireland but lived in greenock from the age of 2 at 17 Baker street. Her parents were Walter John Green and Emma (Keeble). I am trying to confirm:
1. Sarahs marriage to whom I beleive was Duncan Donald, who was a shipyard foreman and stood 6' 7" tall. (They lived very close to Morton F.C.)
2. Sarahs daughter Jean birth date or year, and Jeans marriage to a person who is only known at this stage as John!
Jean had a sister named Sadie, who continued to live in Greenock after Jean and Johns departure to Chesterfield in the late 1950's.
I understand that the information I have is limited, and that I may be asking for a lot of information, but would really appreciate any snippet anyone maybe able to offer.
Thank you Derek

Hi Derek
This is Sarah's family in 1901 I think from what you say. I couldn't easily see them on the transcript in 1891:
Walter I Green 44 Miller Carbon Blach (spl?) b. England
Emma Green 43 b. England
Walter I Green 20 b Ireland
Sarah Green 16 b. Ireland
William Green 9 b. Glasgow
Robert K Green 7 b. Greenock
Emma Green 3 b. Greenock
Ellen C Green 1 b. Greenock
Address: 17 Baker St, Greenock

There is a marriage registration available to view on the pay to view site www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk (reasonable cost) for a Duncan Donald and a Sarah Green in 1907 Greenock.

Thank you Monica for that.
As a start, at least I know that the Duncan Donald name is correct, which in turn has proven Jean and Sadies surname
Kind regards Derek
