There is a J Macarthy aged 28, born Ireland, status 'employee' female servant, living in St James' Westminster coming up on both the Family Search 1851 census records and GenesReunited for 1851. I am a subscriber to ancestry.co.uk and I cannot find the same matching record for this person. Please could somebody kindly have a look at the record for me?
Context: I am wondering (hoping) this is Johanna McCarthy, born 1823 Ireland, who moved to England with her son William McCarthy born c.1846 Ireland. I haven't been able to find her - Johanna - in 1851/1861/ 1871 although she pops up in 1881 aged 58 living with her son William's family in Little Windmill St, St James' Westminster. So, I am really hoping this 'J Macarthy, servant' could be her in 1851. Although not sure where her son William is - he'd only be about 5 years old and I can't find him on the census until 1871 aged 25 (although I have details of his marriage to Ann Barker in 1867). Johanna's 'husband' and father of William is a 'Charles McCarthy, Tailor' (so it says on William's marriage certificate), but he is proving equally elusive. Anyway, first things first. Is this 1851 J Macarthy my Johanna McCarthy? Many thanks for any help you can give me.
