This is a really long shot- looking for any info on Flt Sgt w Beet- posted to RAF 100 Squadron in Lincolnshire 1944- posted at end of tour to 1656 heavy Conversion Unit as a gunnery instructor. he was a close friend of my late uncle who died when his Lancaster was hit in a night raid in July 1944, but I believe that W Beet survived the war= I would dearly love to find out any info whatsoever on him.
The smallest piece of info could be my missing link!

Hello Caroline
I believe Flt Sgt Beet was posted to 576 Squadron as Navigator with the AV Henshaw crew on 01 Jun2 1945. I am the 576 Squadron historian and would very much like to get in touch with you!
Best regards
