hi there! does any person know where a ward mews is in london area.  looking for birthplace of william viddler he was born 1817 ward mews and the only record of ward mews i can find is an modern housing area in colchester essex  thanks bignanook

I think the reference comes from the 1851 census? In which case it could be a mistranscription by the enumerator.  Lockie's Topography of London (1810) includes the  following possibilities:

Ward's Court, Goswell St
Ward's Row, Pimlico
Ward's Row, Bethnal Green Road
Warden's Court, Clerkenwell
Wardour Mews, Portland St
Edward's Mews, Duke Street, Manchester Square
