According to FindMyPast passenger lists:
6 August 1947
Departed Liverpool aboard "Empress of Canada"
bound for Quebec and Montreal
Last address: 22 Beech Ave. Newton Mearns, Renfrewshire, Scotland
Occupation: Insurance
Age: 54
Edith D M Friezer is at the same address.
Age: 37
Housewife
4 October 1947
Arrived Liverpool aboard "Empress of Canada"
from: Montreal
Address: "Sunndoys" 22 Beach Ave. Newton Mearns, Renfrewshire, Scotland
Occupation: Insurance Underwriter
Age: 54
So I did a search on Scotlands People for
Statuatory Registers: marriages
Surname: FRIEZER (wildcard search)
Forename: Coleman
Date range: 1930-1947
one result came up.
Unfortunately I can't see who he married.
I only need the one credit but have to buy 30 :(
I don't want to buy 30 as I only need the one.
Does anyone know if there is somewhere else I can look please?
Coleman married twice that I know of.
I'm wondering if this Edith DM Friezer (housewife) is another one.

No spare credits, but running Coleman Friezer marriage search, there is only 1 returned for whole of Scotland....and adding Edith as female forename, again returns the one result. So, a Coleman Friezer was married to an Edith _____.

Hi... right by having Edith as the first name
I started by putting in begins with a b c for the surname... when it came up with yes .. i continued...
It's Edith Cartwright!

Mr George Frazer, 22 Beech Avenue, < newton Mearns, a founder member of the United Kingdom organisation of the Manufacturers' Life Insurance Company of.....
Found in Glasgow Herald newspaper, 1967 - it is saying he died, aged 76 and for almost 38 years had given service to the United Kingdom Organisation of Manufacturers' Life Insurance Company of Canada.
Outside of his work, he was apparently well known in the West of Scotland Jewish community.

Reply 5 - Canada - Looks like the marriage was found.
Hi Sandra,
I know Coleman was married to Beatrice Suzie WILSON Jan-Mar 1916 at Chorlton which ended in divorce 1930.
I also know he married ..............ohhhh I found it :)
Edith Dorothy Maud CARTWRIGHT.
I had it all the time but I couldn't see if for looking.
However, I didn't know he was in WWI so thanks for that.

Hi Jackie
I believe we might be related. My great grand aunt is Mary Cameron - wife of Myer Friezer, I would be interested to contact you but not sure how to do so!
