Title: Heddon/Newburn parish records
Post by: Past_it on Monday 30 December 13 23:15 GMT (UK)
Hi All
It's been some time since I spent time on my family tree but now winter is here I thought I'd give it another go.
I seem to have lost some information having recently moved house and changed my computer so my question is: Where can I find the web site that gives me the the actual images of the original records and not just the listings. I have had it in the past but seem unable to find it again.
Thank you and Happy New Year.

What "original" records are you referring to?  If you mean census records - marriage certs - baptisms etc then you would need to buy an annual subscription to one of the various Genealogical sites such as Ancestry or FindMyPast

I think you may mean the Bishops Transcripts ? (rather than original parish registers)
They can be found on the Family Search Site

https://familysearch.org/search/collection/list#page=1&region=UNITED_KINGDOM_IRELAND

Scroll down on the right hand side and look for Diocese of Durham, follow the links from there
