Hello I have found Olive Hannan or Olive Hannam died at Wollongong on 9th August 2002 I was
wondering if any one could look it up for my in the Mercury Paper or so I can see the death notice if
possible. Thanks Diane

Hi Diane
You could try using the services of the kind volunteers at the Ryerson Index.

HANNAM - Olive - aged 82
Death Notice - "Illawarra Mercury" - 10 August 2002

I suggest you contact the Wollongong Library for a copy of the death notice. There is an online enquiry form....

I understand that there isn't a volunteer to actually do lookups for the Illawarra Mercury as many of the death notices were transcribed from a index of death notices compiled by a family history group. Cant recall the exact details at the moment.
Cheers :)

Australian Electoral Roll
1980
HANNAM Olive 89 Corrimal Street, Wollongong
HANNAM Walter Lionel 89 Corrimal Street, Wollongong [occupation obliterated however in 1968 he was a clerk]
Walter died 25 May 2000 - notice in Illawarra Mercury 30 May 2000.
I like Olive's occupation in 1949...a chocolate wrapper ;)
Cheers
