Title: Yorkshire - 'hard times' satire.
Post by: bullet on Sunday 22 December 13 04:24 GMT (UK)
I know this was posted some years ago but I'd like to find it again.

It was a tale, or story told of a Yorkshireman telling someone about how tough it was 'back in the old days'. - Similar to Monty Python's 'Four Yorkshiremen'.  It was a visual I'm sure, because I'm certain I remember a picture of someone walking down a cobbled street, - similar to a Hovis advertisement, - (or maybe a 'take off"). Or, maybe just audio and I had visions of it all unfolding in my mind as the story was told.  It was quiet funny.  I don't know if it was on YouTube, or from somewhere else.

Hoping someone here can help.

thanks for posting the website.  I had family members that worked at Carlton Main.  Love hearing the Yorkshire accent again...  Have lived in Canada for a number of years now.

cheers

For the other great You Tube reflection of Yorkshire Life try searching on You tube  'Yorkshire Airlines' (Hale and Pace)

Or read the Yorkshire Edition of Hello magazine renamed 'Ow do'

Merry Christmas
