Hello
I have a listing, from 1932, that gives an address as, "Devonia" Parkhurst, nr Newport. IOW. - I initially thought house/property was called "Boronia" but others have suggested "Devonia" - see poor quality scan.
I am keen to learn if anyone knows of this house / location.
I have found a "Devonia" that is (and was) at Newchurch, nr Sandown, Shanklin but the location of that property could hardly be described as at Parkhurst, nr Newport; the distance is too great!
Any suggestions about the Parkhurst address would be appreciated.
Thank you

Hi
Can you tell us what your interest is in the house - are you researching the occupants? If so - what was the family name as they may appear on street directories
-
Hello Carole, I'm not sure if the person actually lived there or was only visiting. Main surname = HARROW (if resident then, only from 1928 to 1932) who may have been visiting BUSH.
Thanks

There was also a Devonia in Arctic Road, Cowes
