Hi byrneli.
There are two cemetery's in Salford .
Agecroft Cemetery and Weaste Cemetery.
They were both in use at that time and are still in use today.
The burial records are held at Agecroft cemetery for both cemetery's.
Hope this helps.
Dave.

Probate gives his death as 1916, widow Mary.

Hi

Thanks, yes this is the correct date I have a copy of the will from ancestry.  I tried asking agecroft but they want money to do a search which if he's not buried there is a lot to pay out

Thanks again

There is an index of burials at Weaste Cemetery at Cemsearch
A quick look shows a total of 14 people in 4 graves with the McManus surname

It is only an index, it's £6.00 to view the records, have a look at it.
