Title: Michael Wall, son of Nicholas Wall. Dissapeared.
Post by: lindow on Friday 13 December 13 10:55 GMT (UK)
My Grandfather dissapeared after the war and I have been trying to locate what happened to him.

His name was Michael Wall, born 19th January 1886. Registered in New Ross, Co. Wexford.
Son of Nicholas Wall.

He moved to Salford, Lancashire and had 4 x boys and my mother. He was in the catering corps, which accepted older men, and left home shortly after the war.

His daughter, my nanna, was called Mary Keogh. They married in Waterford cathedral in 1927.

My nanna died in 1988 in Exmouth, Devon.

Service records for men who served in WWII are still with the MOD; there may be some clues there.
