Title: Goodnestone vs Goodnestone
Post by: PK-KTK on Thursday 21 November 13 04:42 GMT (UK)
How can I tell the difference between Goodnestone (the one near Graveney & Faversham) and Goodnestone (the one near Chillenden & Aylesham).
Is there something obvious I should look for in Census and parish records that can help?

On census records, check the Registration District.

No 1 is in Faversham RD (until 1941).
No 2 is in Eastry RD.

No 1 has St Bartholomews church.
No 2 has Holy Cross church.
