I was wondering whether anyone had access to the parish records of St. Andrew the Less, Cambridge and could look up the baptism of James Arthur Walter BETHELL in 1824. I would very much like to find out the names of his parents.

I know he married in Suffolk in 1847 and died in Suffolk in 1863
but I cannot find him on either the 1851 or 1861 census. Is he mis-transcribed?

I think there were more "porkies" than just his second marriage. Very very confusing family. Just can't get a good run on any of them and they also seemed to move around A LOT. One of the daughters from James' first marriage married a man from Norfolk but for some reason chose to get married in Yorkshire

You wanted to know who James Arthur Walter Bethell parents were and you probably know by now, but they were a James Bethell and Ann Barrow. He was bapt 16 April 1824 St Andrew the Less, Cambridge. Hope this helps
