Hi, can anyone help me find Needlemaker Abraham Lord missing in the 1861 census. I have him in Leic 1841 (as Alexandrina) with wife Denah (Dinah), daur Sarah & son Anthony, & in 1851 as Lard with son Anthony Joseph. The 41 census lists his dob as abt 1791 & the 51 as abt 1787. He was born Canterbury, Kent according to the 51 census, Dinah died in 1847 & Abraham died in 1865 so should be in the 1861 census. He is buried in Welford Road Cemetery & his death certificate places his death at St Margaret's Union Workhouse.
Any assistance greatly appreciated.

Hi Marg,
Sarah Coltman would be a Union Workhouse staff member I think as I have come across her name in other records as well; as an informant in the Workhouse. Abraham's daughter Sarah married a Francis Brown (1837) about 1861 so not the same Sarah, though she and first born son George Turner Brown (1860) are also missing from the 1861 census. Her husband Francis Brown is listed with his parents, no sign of either Sarah or George.
Cheers Janet :)
