Does anyone know where the burial records are available for this church ? In particular the 1800 -1911.
Any help much appreciated.

St Mary Monmouth churchyard was closed to new burials in 1851 when a council owned cemetery was created. Unless the church authorities are able to store records under temperature and humidity controlled conditions including fire prevention, they are obliged to pass them to the local Record Office. In 2012 the cemetery also closed due to lack of burial space. Monmouth County Council administers the cemeteries see http://www.monmouthshire.gov.uk/home/care-and-support/deaths-and-cemeteries/cemeteries-and-burials/
Please be aware that most bereavement services charge a search fee normally so much per year searched in the records. You may wish before visiting check with the Record Office whether they hold the churchyard burial records. If you are unable to visit you may need to employ a research agent eg AGRA an association has a list of researchers or the Record Office may have a list of researchers.
