Title: Stourbridge (Worcestershire during the 1840s)
Post by: Daveys History on Friday 08 November 13 14:15 GMT (UK)
Hi,

Does anyone have access, (or can tell me if they are on line) relating to Stourbridge death (burial)
entries for 1st Quarters 1843 & 1846. I am looking for any info (particularly the age) of Benjamin Roberts entries for these two dates.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in anticipation.

Dave Roberts.

Thanks Jackie.

I will be in Halesowen next week so you're reply is greatly appreciated. Will be able (hopefully) to check this out.

Regards.

Another option might be St Mary Old Swinford, which is now part of Stourbridge,
The records are extensively available & very comprehensive. I found loads of "events" for my Stourbridge glassmaking ancestors & their families there.
Another possibility would be Lye, where the inhabitants were largely nailmakers.

H Dave, I had a look here for your Benjamin but with no luck, it may be worth bookmarking this site if you have other searches in the area (if you are not already aware of it  :))

Thanks mrsruz & jool.

I'm in West Midlands tomorrow and your info gives me something to go on.

Doing "reckies" of the locations mentioned so hopefully, might come up with something.

Thanks again.

Regards.
