I have been researching on my great-grandmother's line for many years. Her father, Heinrich Hommer, immigrated to America in 1864. Over 20 years ago, I sent for information from the archives in Koblenz and received information back on his military service and request for immigration.
I would like to get further back on his line. We have a letter written to him from Germany that lists siblings names.
Thanks for any help! It is much appreciated.

Hi,
you could try http://gedbas.genealogy.net/. They have a lot of Hommer in their data base, also some from Kettig, but a bit earlier than yours. Contact emails are given.
Good luck, regards Peonie
