Alfred Brown was from Leeds, Yorkshire, England, son of Ferguson and Mary Brown (Mary was formerly Backhouse). Minnie was daughter of Charles and Ellen Preece from Newent in Gloucestershire, England. Both born 1882, they travelled over in 1905 and 1902 respectively.
They married in Winnipeg in 1908, the 1916 and 1921 census shows them to still be in Winnipeg, and they have a daughter Flora Helen Mary, born in 1912.
Minnie was my grandfathers sister, and I have no idea what became of them. Any sightings gratefully received.

That was quick! That is them, they are at the same address in the 1921 census, so they lived there a long time. Thank you so much for this information.

Thanks so much Sandra, looks like you have told me who Flora married and a likely date range for both Alfred and Minnie's deaths. Thanks again.

With *Sandra* 's great find of the McCallum name, this link has a good possibility of being Flora's obituary:

All I can say is Wow! The information given in that obituary for George is unbelievable, the amount of new family names.
I can't thank you enough, tracing people forwards to relatively recent times can always be tricky, I never imagined that someone would be able to help so much.
Now I just need to try to do the same with a Australian link....
