I am looking for the birth record of Rosie Gallagher born abt 1886 in Carrick West Meath her father was James Gallagher, who was her Mother?

Have you found her with parents in census? You'll have to order the birth certificate to be sure of both parents.

At Family Search births and baptisms 1620/1881 there is the birth of Anna Maria Gallagher on 22nd May 1875 dtr of James Gallagher and Mary Walsh in Co Westmeath.
1908 Rosie marries William Stenson son David born 1909 enumerated twice with grandparents posted above in 1911 and with Rosie Stenson at Harbour st 1911,now bear with me there is also a nephew with Rosie in 1911 called Reggie Walshe age 18 is he her nephew or William Stenson's nephew.
Reggie or Reginald appears on the 1901 Census age 8 in Ballysax with parents Henry and May Walsh both born Co Westmeath.
There may be a connection here but you will know for certain when you get her birth cert.

if you zoom in on household form A for James Gallagher age 74 at Carrick in 1911 you will see where the enumerator has rubbed out years married, children born and alive. very smudged but looks like 30/40 yrs married 8 born 6 alive

Good idea! I can't see it that well but as John is 29 yrs in 1901 and 37 yrs in 1911 perhaps it is more like 40 yrs.

1868 Mullingar vol 18 pg 291
Amongst the possible spouses are Mary Walsh and James Gollaher

Stenson family HarbourMasters ,Plasterers, and cycle repairers,
Possible father in law of Rosie
1901 census David Stenson age 65 16 Harbour st Mullingar
wife Elizabeth age 53 a son William 21 cycle repairer
also a Leo Walshe cycle repairer nephew so the Walshe's are related to the Stensons,
David Stenson died 1907 Eliz 1910 both on Calendar of wills.

when Elizabeth Stenson died in 1910 she left her estate to William Meares a Plasterer it turns out this man is most likely her brother married to Kate Corrigan in 1884 no children?
Rosies husband William Edward Stenson born 28 March 1880 to David Stenson and Elizabeth Mears/Mayers/Meares.

The Rosie we found in Carrick seems to be the only one of any spelling of the name, could we ask the source or origin of your info is it from a marriage cert.

I found Rosie on the 1901 census age 15 her father James is a widower so I was looking for her birth record at Carrick W Meath
