Post by: Michelle Cook on Saturday 19 October 13 03:03 BST (UK)
Is there someone in the Timaru area who would be able to have a look at the following title Memories of life in Timaru Author Thompson, Eliza
in The South Canterbury Society of NZSG.
I am interested in the information regarding the Brehaut Family. If
possible photographs of the pages would be much appreciated.

Hi Michelle,

I don't believe we have any RootsChatters living near Timaru.

If you contact the branch direct they should be willing to assist you.

Hi
I found an opportunity to go to the Museum in Timaru on Friday and looked up the book you mentioned.  I have taken some notes for you from Eliza's musings on her life in Timaru.  Sadly there are no photos in the book.  It is available for purchase for $25 (50pages) through the Genealogy section of the museum if you would prefer.  They can photocopy or disc it for you.
Look forward to hearing from you.
