HELLO,
WOULD ANYONE HAVE ACCESS TO THE PARISH REGISTERS FOR HOLY TRINITY,SMETHWICK.
I'M AFTER A MARRIAGE OF ELIZABETH WARD (WHO i THINK IS ELIZABETH WARR) TO JAMES SMITH.SEPTEMBER QUARTER,1844.
MY GGGRANDMOTHER IS ELIZABETH WARR AND I CAN'T FIND HER MARRIAGE ANYWHERE TO JAMES,SO I'M HOPING THIS MIGHT BE A MIS-SPELLING.HERE'S HOPING!! MANY THANKS,SUE. ???

they were married at holy trinity smethwick in 1844. I am going to smethwick archives this tuesday and willlook it up for you.

No problem Sue.If it's any help the wedding took place in the September quarter,so it must have taken place in the June,July or August.I think thats how it works anyway?? :-\

Hi sue i have found the details... they were married on 8th sept 1844 they were both aged 20... fathers were Edward ward (deceased) and james smith (miner)... witnesses were Samuel Richards and James Reynolds... hope this helps...sue :D
