I'm looking for baptisms of children of George O'Connor and Mary Mulroy born between 1881 and 1891 in Windy Nook, Gateshead. They are Roman Catholic so I assume St Joseph's Felling is the most likely place of baptism.

hello , may I ask do you have the names of the children already and you want to find baptisms
or is it you want to find any children baptised to those parents?

I see mary remarried 1894 to james mcknough at Gateshead and seems she died 1901 after the census .she had a child with james Michael b 1894.
I can find her childrens birth but can't seem to find any christening's

Thanks but I already have all of the census information. The McKnough spelling is wrong and should read Mckeough. Mary Mulroy married her brother-in-law James McKeough, my gr grandfather after both their spouses died. James's McKeough's sister Mary married James O Connor who was the brother of George and also of James McKeough's first wife Margaret. The issue I have is that the names of the children in the "McKnough" household in 1901 do not match with Mary Mulroy's children. In fact they look like a mixture of James O'Connor and Mary McKeough's children and George O'Connor and Mary Mulroy's. Apart from purchasing a lot of certificates the parish records are likely to shed most light hence my asking for the look up.
By the way my grandfather James McKeough's wife was a Doran.
regards
Norman

hi yes I can see what you mean with the 1901 but I couldn't find any christenings but that doesn't mean some one won't as you know there are lots of good people on here.
my dorans are from Armagh ireland

Thanks. I may need to pay a visit to the Tyne and Wear Archives as relevant church records can be found there. My Dorans hail from Co Monaghan.
