I know from later censuses that William Munday was born in Southampton in 1834/5. He became a mariner and married in Sunderland. I would be grateful, if anyone has access to the 1851 census, for a look-up for him and his family.

Can I try again with this one? I have found on the 1851 census via Family History Online a William Munday aged 17, born Priors Dean, Ham, living in Selborne. Unfortunately there's no way of finding who else was in the household. If someone could trace it for me I'd be grateful - reference 1679/245.

1851 census shows William Munday born Priors Dene as an apprentice not living with his family but I have found the following entry on 1841 census. !841 doesn't show relatinships to one another but I hope this helps.

I have found William's baptism:
William Munday baptised 15 Aug 1833 Priors Dean, parents James & Eliza.
No others listed in Priors Dean. But there is this in East Tisted
James Munday baptised 13 Mar 1831, parents James & Eliza.
Other William Mundays born around that time were baptised in Fawley, Compton and Herriard.
