Post by: WDHSR on Saturday 12 October 13 10:27 BST (UK)
Searching for birth certificate/ parents for Jacob Fenner b 1802 in Essen. Spouse Anna Martha Grebruse, they moved to USA in 1849 and had children. (All my data sources for this are US Census, haven't found any records from Essen). Would love to find German records.

Thanks for your help. I have new information that he only lived in Essen and was born in Römersberg, Hesse-Kassel. His wife was also born there but I am not totally sure on her name.

this guy is from Michelsburg, only 10km from Romersberg, and could well be the father but no way to prove it at this point. Again, my thanks. http://gw.geneanet.org/hiimpact?lang=en;pz=heinz+georg;nz=klippert;ocz=0;p=jacob;n=fenner;oc=1
