Title: Aided immigration from Britain to South Africa 1857 to 1867
Post by: bme on Monday 07 October 13 07:51 BST (UK)
Does anyone have access to this book? I am trying to find anything on:

Page 632: McManus, Joseph (29) Plasterer
Page 370: Peterkin, Jane (19) House servant

As far as we are concerned, they arrived in Australia from SA . That's it - I am not even sure what is supposed to be in the book. ...

Hi ,

I'm going to move this to the South African board.
Think it will have a better chance of success there rather than the Scotland Resources board.

Hi bme

http://trove.nla.gov.au/work/10990788?q=aided+immigration+from+britain+to+south+africa&c=book&versionId=12855451#tabs10990788=2
This is the link to Trove which lists the 2 libraries that hold a copy of the book.

If you are unable to get an inter-library loan, it may be worthwhile contacting them with a lookup request.

I recently had success with a basic enquiry to a library in NZ.  :)
