Title: Lewis family Dolfach , Llanbrynmair.

I have family connection with the late Ceinwen Lewis nee Jones. My second cousin is Avril Brandy and lives in Ffos y Ffin , Ceredigion. She has a daughter Simone who lives in Penparcau , Aberystwyth.
Any info. would be appreciated.

Dad was Hugh Griffith Roberts and my mother Catherine Bowen Jones daughter of Ellis Jones your great grandfather, Abraham's brother.

I knew the connection, just wanted to fill in the gaps, I'm trying to get more info on the parents of Ellis and Abrahams father. So far I have Richard Jones 1842-1902 and his wife Mary Jinny Williams 1847-1910,  would like to find out more about there families.

Same here - I have a little more - Rhys Meirion - the singer is related - Ebrandy - between Mallwyd & Dinas Mawddwy.
Relation through a marriage between George Jones born 1880 and Elizabeth A Hughes born 1875. George brother of of Abraham and Ellis.
On two strands have gone back on another side of my family to 1620.
Research time is my limiting problem.
Hopefully someone out there will assist us in our researches.

Date & location of Cynlas death - plus his place of birth.
Date & location of Ceinwen's wedding
Date & location of Bill & Jinnie's wedding.
Date & location of Bill's birth and death.

Any info on the Dunlop family in London. I knew Gwyn , their son who was a police officer at Merthyr Vale.

John Cynlas Lewis 10.11.1922 - nov 1980 ? born in Talerddig died in Llanbrymair, married Ceinwen Jones sept 1943

Jennie Jones 1918-2001 married William D Thomas (Bill) in Merthyr, 1965.

 Unfortunately I have no dates for Bill but I do have records for the Dunlop family and Gwyn's Email!  He once claimed that we are related to Vinnie Jones!! but I haven't seen the proof yet.  I will send you Gwyn's Email
