Whilst recently researching on Freereg I noticed that after each Norfolk church name there was an abreviation of either Tr or Pr could someone please explain what they mean

Could PR be Parish register and TR transcript  :-\

TR is a transcript - so something not taken directly from the register.
AT is the archdeacon transcript - sent in every year by each parish to the diocese
BT is the bishops transcript - compiled by year

PR is taken directly from the parish register.

If nothing after the church name then assume it is a PR
