Title: Bannisters and Adcocks in Lincolnshire
Post by: karen1956 on Wednesday 02 October 13 21:19 BST (UK)
I have done extensive research on Bannister's and Adcocks throughout Lincolnshire.(since parish records began to present day)  In particular in Donnington, Gosburton, Quadring, Surfleet, Heckington, Spalding, Friskney, Frampton. Anyone else have similar interests or possible connections with these names, and would like to get in touch?

Hi Karen and welcome to Rootschat :)

At the bottom, there is a link to an area for surname interests: http://surname.rootschat.com/index.php

On there, you can add your own interests and find people with similar interests. For you to be able to personal message others or for any future Rootschatter to be able to message you, you need to make 2 more posts.

I notice 'cyrpus' is researching Bannisters in Lincolnshire but they've only made. 2 posts do you won't be able to contact them. If you make a post on a thread they've taken part in, explaining who you are and asking them to post another post, then they will get a notification of your post and when they respond you will get a notification so you can message them. Here is the thread they took part in: http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php?topic=286352.msg1695648#msg1695648

I hope this makes sense - I know I've waffled a bit too much in this post!

Jack

Maybe u have found this already by now....I was just browsing for one of my lost souls when I came across almost a full page of Adcocks......  LTTP  Gayton le Marsh Parish Records (baps., bus & mars) for 1687 - image no.4.
Over a dozen Adcocks...but what makes this more interesting and unusual is the info includes the actual time of birth to the nearest hour.   It's a shame Adcocks aren't my scene, but I hope this will make someone happy>

A very tenuous link and probably not a link at all.... but my Bullimore family are from Lincs and came to Syston Leics. There are many Adcocks in Syston and I wonder if there is a link there.
