I have published the Irish Motor Directory 1911-12 by Henry G. Tempest.
The Directory covers all 32 Counties in Ireland and also includes six County Boroughs (Belfast, Cork, Dublin, Limerick, Londonderry & Waterford).
The Directory lists the Registration, the Owners Name & Address and whether the vehicle is a Car or Bicycle.
The Irish Motor Directory is located at the following link :

I hope this info is useful those tracing ancestors in Ireland.

Thank you for posting this link and sharing your publication. It is marvellous.

Wonderful resource. County of registration is not always place of residence for the owner so you may have to search more than one county to find a vehicle.
-
Thanks Andy, This is very interesting.

Fantastic do you have later editions? 1926? Trying to identify a car that my relatives had in 1926.

Hi Quinn,
No sorry i don't have any other editions. I was at PRONI today and they do not have any editions of the Irish Motor Directory.
I would love to try and get other editions.

Thanks for that.
Found a granduncle on it who had a motorbike in 1911.Something I never knew.

Hi Noland,
Who was the relative that you found, glad the site helped you trace that.
I reckon it could be a good resource for people who have old photos of a car registration and can easily trace who the owner was.

Hi
Looking at it again it was a bicycle. It was John Nolan Augha with reg. number IC 18.Have a couple of original Michelin guides for the British Isles here from 1911 and 1914(I think).Must have a look at them sometime as rem. reading them as a kid years ago and being fascinated at how much roads towns etc had changed.

Thanks agahdowey. Where would I find the info? Had a quick look, it doesn't appear to be there, unless I've overlooked it. Thanks

Can't see it either but perhaps the site lost it when it was hacked?
However I think Wayback Machine can find it :) LINK (https://web.archive.org/web/20170324050552/http://lurgan-ancestry.co.uk:80/index.php/motor-directory-for-county-armagh-1911-12/)

The complete 1914-15 Irish Motor Directory is below:

Some fascinating background information as well, eg. the rise in motor cars registered in Ireland from 842 in 1905 to 10,923 in 1914.
