It seems that my ancestors liked to keep people guessing.
My 2X great grandfather James James was born about 1792 in either Langford (1851 census) or Bridgwater (1861 census) Somerset. His surname was either James (1841) or Janes (1851 onwards). He married Mary Cantle and they lived in Keynsham where all their children were born. He died in Keynsham in 1864.
I have been spoilt by the information supplied by the Keynsham and Saltford Local History Society and wonder if there are online records for Langford or Bridgwater.
Also I cannot find their wedding. My great grandfather was their firstborn about 1829 so can anyone suggest where they married. It does not appear to be Keynsham.
Thanks for your help.

Thank you Joburg and Milliepede for that information. Was it common for people to marry in more than one church?
