Hi
I am looking for the following Stewart's from Frizington, Cumbria, England. Joseph William Stewart b 1888, Matthew Stewart b 1886 and Robert Stewart b 1884. They all appeared in the 1901 census but no trace of them after this apart from Robert who married in 1908 and no record of him from this date.

It's not a good idea to post the same query on numerous boards- you've posted this one on at least 5 times today. Sounds as though you can't find these people and have just posted everywhere on the off chance they went to U.S., Canada, Australia, New Zealand or South Africa.
-
One of their great uncles emigrated to Australia and family folklore suggests South Africa while others say North America. That's why we have gone for these five. Although we have no firm evidence on were they emigrated to.
-
One post on Beginners board or Immigrants board would have caused less confusion for those trying to help.

Have you looked at Passenger Lists, leaving the UK?
Ancestry have them, as do FindMyPast.
You can probably fine Ancestry (freee usage) in your local library.
FindMyPast is free to look at the indexes, but you will need to buy credits to look at the actual lists.
For example, on the SS Caledonian, departing Glasgow 4th September 1909 for New York, are:
Joseph Stewart, 21, Fitter
William Stewart, 25, Joiner
Charles E Stewart, 30, Shipwright
