Hi i've found a possible 1851c at Cadoxton juxta Neath, for my great uncle edward perry, surname spelt as Per on the census. Aged 19 bn wiltshire. He seems to be with a large group of farm workers, this page all wiltshire folk, another one of which is james giddins who later marries edward's sister rhoda. He was bn in charlton st peter, nr upavon wilts in 1832.
I can't find any later census records or welsh deaths that stand out, i just wondered if it was worth asking people with local info if there is anything else i could look at? In all likelihood he couldn't write so there's no saying how he would spell his name. His other siblings have scattered all over the south of england and one in australia.
appreciate any help thanks

There's one in Lincolnshire in 1901 born Rushall which is near Upavon. He's a lodger and single age transcribed as 68. Occupation gardener?? (jobbing) Could be.

Hi millie, yes i'd put that in my tree before but when checking any other edwards, it could be edward ephraim perry bn rushall and the age is 60 rather than 68 on the census. I haven't been able to complete ephraim's line to eliminate him. The other thing perhaps is that edward wasn't mentioned in his dad's will with all the other surviving children, which could mean he was dead before 1885.
:)
