The Beards I am researching also came from Evesham to Birmingham, but were in Birmingham by 1861.
The Beard family I am looking into are William Beard (born 1805 Worcestershire) and his wife Sarah and their many children. All of their children were born in the Evesham area before they moved to Birmingham.

Hi 👋🏼
My maternal grandmother who is still alive - grandfather was James beard. I have been researching my ancestry for 10 years and recently last year or so, came across thee “bowey” in our tree. Making William my 3rd great uncle. Following his story through the news papers have been very interesting and amazing. We have a few criminals in our family so it confirmed it rooted from our Nan which we all believed :D we are from Birmingham and still here. I know this post is Farley old. I hope to connect with you though with hopes you still use this site. I’ve joined. You will be able to find me on ancestry
