Hi,
I have lots of info regarding this. My grt/x5 grandfather was also William Lines of Chipping Warden. I have info regarding the next 4 generations up from William that I would be pleased to share with you - that takes the Lines family back to around 1600. My grt/x4 grandfather was Charles Lines - the youngest brother of Thomas that you refer to. I have details of the other 10 brother/sisters you are looking for. If you would like to swap more info - please let me know (via this message board) an email I can contact you on.
Regards,
Roy.

Tomscot.

My Lines family were in Maidford, Northants, from 1789. A Benjamin born c 1766 from age at time of death. I could never linked him into the Chipping Warden Lines but I now think I can via a Benjamin  birth in a village in Oxford. His father is recorded as Austin and Augustine. This name was common in my branch.
There are lots of postings on various websites re this Lines family in Chipping Warden but all with variations. One has your Henry with a son called Joseph (brother of  an Ann) who has Augustine as descendants for at least two generations. One of Jospeh's sons, an Edward is shown also with a son Augustine as well. This one is in the right age bracket.

Were you ever able to identify your Henry's father.? Did your Ann marry a William Rayton?

Eli son of John and Mary LINES of Chipping Warden was born 18th Sep 1835.
His baptism was not entered in the register though a note was added at the bottom of the page about his birth and that he had been baptised but not entered.
This may have been added several months or years later.

I have a William Lines in my family born abt 1841, Maidford North Hamptonshire to Thomas Lines and Anne Blackwell.  He emigrated to New Zealand, married Lucy Jane Allcock and I have this info:

Although William's birth is listed on Family search as 1839 the shipping lists for the Thomas Harrison place his age as "infant" and Elizabeth as 3 years which means he must have been less than 1 year old when the ship sailed.

William and Lucy had the following children:

Millie Elsie (28 Dec 1871 - 23 Dec 1902)
William Henry James (11 Feb 1877 - 11 Jan 1962)
Baby Lines (13 Jun 1888 - 13 Jun 1888)

Sarah Allcock (her sister?) married Benjamin Lines in Nelson NZ as well.

Kind regards
Caroline
