Is there anyone able to look up the electoral roll to find out the names of the residents of 11 Manor Avenue, Fulwood between 1936 and 1939 please? My great grand aunt Annie Georgina Murray Henderson died there in 1940 and the death was reported by a James Wilson (cousin) present at the address. I know there aren't any electoral rolls available during the war years, but I'm also trying to establish when AGMH came back from Australia (1936 being the last known mention of her there) and why she would be in Lancashire when her roots were Scottish. She died a spinster with no full blood relatives alive.
Many thanks

Hi
Have you tried looking at the records on Ancestry?
There appear to be several Annie M Henderson passenger records there.

Hi Heather, thanks for the suggestion.
I didn't realise you could search incoming ships on ancestry.co.uk so I'll look into that. However I'd also like to know about James Wilson, because if he lived there before she returned then at least it gives me some sort of family reason for her to be there, even if it is only a cousin of some sort.
Cheers

Hi Stuart,
I`ll probably be going to the Harris Library sometime this week, I`ll have a look for you unless someone else gets there before me!

Hi Stuart,
Visit completed and info as follows:-
Fulwood Central North Ward - 11 Manor Ave.
1935-36 - Nicholas Joseph Shortall, Rose Mary Shortall
1936-37 - same as above
1937-38 - same as above
1938-39 - same as above
1939-40 - James Wilson and Anne Henderson
then in
1945-46 - James Wilson, Catherine A. Mackay
I had trouble locating Fulwood in 46-47, 47-48 and 48-49.
By 1949-50 different occupants again.
Hope this helps :)

So she moved in along with her cousin in 1939, died in 1940, and her cousin was there with another woman in 1946.
That's very helpful, thank you very much Janet :)
