Title: Lacey Wedding c. 1876 - General Clean Up!

These are my great grandparents on the occasion (I think) of their second marriage - to each other!! The rules of the Royal Irish Constabulary did not allow marriage within the first seven years of service, so they got a sneaky one in several years before!! I would really appreciate if the image could be repaired and scrubbed up!

Just in case you didn't know this is a Tintype which are displayed in reverse.
You can see from yours that his tunic is buttoned the wrong side & her wedding ring is on the wrong hand.
This is how they would have looked at the sitting.

I never heard of a tintype before - thank you Jim! ................. and a big thank you to restorers for ironing out the years of erosion. The finished products look great - thank you!
