I have a Richard Fitzgerald and wife Jean Stewart buried in plot 764/18/w in St Peter's, Dalbeth cemetery Glasgow. Jean died in 1936 at 129 Gartland Drive, Glasgow. and Richard died in 1942 at 23 Priory Rd Glasgow. They has 3 children in 1911 Cork census, Richard born 1907, Jean 1908 and Sheila 1911. Jean was present at her fathers death. Jeans parents were William Stewart and Jean McPherson, both deceased before 1936.
Have I any way of finding if any others are buried in that grave or if there are any decendants. I did check on findagrave but their grave is not mentioned.
Also does anybody know how I can find out if the family lived on at 23 Priory Road after Richard's death.
Of course if anybody recognises the family from these details I would be delighted to hear from them.

SP has 1 marriage in Glasgow 1923 for a Richard Fitzgerald
Also a possible death for him in 1971 Old Kilpatrick

Thank you both for your help. I checked that marriage but its not correct family. Also the death but that needs to be ordered and would cost £12, so I will have to think about that a little bit more. I'm hoping that somebody will recognise that family someday and get in touch.
Richard is from Dunmanway, Co Cork and was born in 1875. I dont know where Jean was born.
I live in Ireland so I am not in a position at the moment to visit the graveyard or the archives.

Quite a few of my people are in St Peter's, and as I live really near I will try and arrange a visit in the next few days and see if I can find any headstones for you. Wish me luck.

A very special thank you to "ayrgenes" who went to St Peter's to read the headstone for me.
A rather sad discovery was that their son Richard died in 1913 aged only 5 years.
So I now have this information but hope that one day somebody from this family might read this post and get in touch with their Irish cousins.

If anyone else is ever heading to Dalbeth, I would love a few look-ups! I tried to go in the summer, but I only had a couple days in Glasgow and I never made it out of the Mitchell Library! I know of at least 4 graves in Dalbeth that are my ancestors and none are in the old section. I don't know if any of them have monuments (it would actually surprise me if they did, given their level of poverty). If anyone ever gets the chance, I would be very grateful! Thanks!

The 2 babies were my grandmother's siblings.
