Hi All,
Please could anyone help? But story first.....
I am in the Royal Air Force and have recently been posted to Cyprus. I now have a downstairs toilet, for a better word, a Hall of Shame! It already has my pictures, reports, plaques, tacky RAF carvings, signed prints, detachment souvenirs, etc etc... you get the picture!
I have recently found out that my Gt Grandfather, Cyril Pretoria Bragg was awarded several medals for action during WWI. Please see thread if interested.

I will be ordering replacement medals for him, as they were lost after my Gt Grandmother's, his wife's, funeral. I would like to get the attached picture restored to get framed along side the replacement medals. The picture is of Cyril aged 14 years not long after he joined Her Majesty's Royal Navy in 1914.
So, please could anyone restore my Gt GF in sepia as is the picture and cropped so that I can reunite him with his, albeit replacement, medals.

Thank you all ever so much for bringing the photo back to life. You are all VERY talented!
One of them will definitely be going up in my Hall of Shame along side his medals.... the only problem I have is which one to choose!
Thank you again Maureen, Tommy, Carolyn and Yvonne.
from a very astonished and very happy Monkey.
Cheers again, Butch.

Hi my name is. Bragg and I am tracing my in-laws back. I think my father in laws father was Cyril Pretoria Bragg as that is the name of his father on his marriage certificate with a profession of royal navy, and it is such an unusual middle name I can't find another one. How much research have you done. My father in law was Douglas Harry Bragg. I maybe barking up the wrong tree but thought it worth contacting you to see. Do you know Cyril's wife's name could it be Helen?
