I have taken one of my wife's lines back to a marriage at Westleton in 1741 (per Boyd) of John Townrow and Elizabeth Turner.
Can anyone help me to go back a little further, please? It looks as though they may both have come from there, since they appear to have remained in Westleton.
John's burial age suggests he was born around 1708.
Thanks,
David.

Taken from Westleton parish register.
John Townlow and Elizabeth Turner both singlepersons were married by licence June 1st 1741.
John s/o John and Elizabeth Townlow baptised 25th October 1741.
(I couldn't see any further Townlow baptisms at Westleton).
I also looked at the baptisms ~1700-1710 but could not see a baptism for John senior.

Thank you for that info. I already had the year of marriage from Boyd, but have noted the further details you have given.
Thank you also for looking for the couple's baptisms (presumably you also looked for Elizabeth Turner's). Bearing in mind that the marriage was not until 1741, it may be that the age on his death record is a bit high.
Regards,
David.
