Maybe local newspapers would have a report of the funeral -and details of where he was laid to rest

Hi Diane666
Once you have been with us a bit longer you will realise that duplicate posts cause confusion.  Is this the 3rd or 4th?   You see, I am confused already!  I can't remember if anyone has suggested wills for instance.
Were there living relatives apart from your mother at that time who might remember more?

Hi sorry for any confusion I am slowly getting the hang of this, my grandfather as far as I no was alone he had been married twice first wife divorced him, his second wife [ my gran] left him for another man but they never divorced at least I can find no record of it and her death cert says Mary kelway bamber I don't no if he had any other relationships or children after they split I wouldn't no where to look to see if there were any other children from him.
