Bought a new pc today using Windows 8 - had to use You tube to help know what to do!!!!
Sadly my PAF5's won't work on it and I downloaded the free version of Ancestral Quest but cannot read the notes I have put on PAF.
Anyone know what would be good to use instead so that I can read the notes from my PAF's? I do have the files backed up on CD's.
I didn't even realise that it was no longer in use - must have had my head burried in the sands!
Please don't get too technical with me!

Thanks arthurk. I have found in the free version of Ancestral Quest where the notes are kept! I just panicked last night!!!

I also purchased a new computer with win8 this month, I have had no problem with using paf5 on it.

ps I kept and added the hard drive from the old computer to it. (which has a backup of the paf5 install on it)
