Title: Freemans Journal - Dublin.

Anyone with access to Irish News Archives website?  Am hoping an article features my long lost ancestor.
Freemans Journal - Wednesday 4th July 1849, page 3. Article on "NOWLAN ".
Hoping this article is about the trial of MARY NOWLAN, who was tried (along with her sister Ann Burke).  Tried at Wexford on 30th June 1849.  They were both sentenced to 7 years transportation to Tasmania.
Am not a subscriber to the above website, so cannot access the article without paying the subscription.  If someone can help, would be very grateful.  Thanks.     Jeddah.

Hi jeddah– I searched for ‘NOWLAN’ in the Freeman’s Journal for 4th July 1849 and got one hit, which was on page 3.  It seems to relate to a meeting of the ‘South Union Cholera Hospital Committee’ and a ‘Captain Nowlan’ was among the members present.  :( 

You might be able to access the online newspaper archive from a local library?
