Title: dating please
Post by: chelle 5 on Wednesday 21 August 13 20:13 BST (UK)
I know I have put this up a few years ago for restoration and a wonderful job was done by all...thank you, however I am not convinced it is who the family seem to think it is due to ages and dates, please could someone give me a rough idea of the date this may have been taken and if you are feeling clever a rough idea of the age of the young lady many thanks

Well...mid-late 1920s I would think, before the hemline dropped again in 1929. Would that solve anything? :)

Cheers,
China

Is that a wrist watch she is wearing?  If I remember correctly wrist watches became popular from the 1920's which fits with China's dating.

Looks very much like something from 1925-1926, just similar to some old pictures we have.
