The son Michael shown on the 1881 census appears to mistranscribed and is actually Richard Green b 1849 and he is living with the family in earlier census years

Hi Val

Welcome to RootsChat.

I agree with Kay that Michael is actually Richard.

For George's baptism there is a baptism for a George Greenalgh/Greenhalgh:

Baptism: 12 Jun 1816 St Chad, Poulton-le-Fylde, Lancashire
George Greenalgh - son of John Greenalgh & Betty
    Abode: Carleton
    Occupation: Taylor

An earlier baptism at St Chad's for what looks like the same parents:
Baptism: 14 Feb 1812 St Chad, Poulton-le-Fylde, Lancashire
Peggy Green OR Greenalgh - daughter of John Green OR Greenalgh & Betty
    Abode: Carleton
    Occupation: Taylor

Might be your George? There do seem to be a few baptisms for variants on Green, Greenhalgh & Greenalgh in that area.
