Hi
Can anyone come up with a best guess by educated look at the lady in the photo, she is the one on the top step in the door way and in the middle standing beside her mother.
The man at the front with the hat on is approximately 5 foot 7 in height and maybe about one metre infront of the door way.
Another clue is that there are at least 3 steps, could be 4 I think.
Any detectives with a keen eye out there please.
David.

If you look at the little fellow wearing a hat - he looks to be about 6 years old and the average height of a well nourished 6 year old in that era was around 3"6" Given that he appears to be standing on the top stone step before entering into the building proper which equates to around a 7" rise I would think that the lady you are asking about would be about 5' 2" - 5' 4" tall

Ideally you'd know the address of the Kearns family from a related census and with luck the building would still stand so you could possibly measure it yourself.
Guessing that isn't an option for practical reasons.

The building has an add on at its front today from what I can see on google earth etc I think there would have been 4 steps and from some info from a person with a living memory of the lady she was very small in height, perhaps just under 5 foot maybe?, it appears her mother who is next to her was also about the same height.
