Hi

Could you give us the details from the 1901 census so that we can see who you are talking about.

Rosie

Hi,I don't recall asking anyone to do a look up on 1911 census, I was asking in general terms of info regarding said person. If anyone has him in their  tree or come across his second marriage etc. :-\

Hi

It was the way I read it - seemed as though you couldn't find him after 1901

If you  have you found him on the 1911 census - was Elizabeth still his wife at that time?  If she wasn't - it narrows down a search for a second marriage

Hi,no I haven't found him on 1911 census. His first wife dies around 1901 and their children go to live with other family. It is believed he remarried and had more children. But I don't think he did. As I can't find anything similar to him on 1911 census I think he also died . But proving hard as the name is very comman

Have you sent for this death certificate and have you any marriage certificates from any of his children that might state that he was deceased. Couldn't find a will, although I thought he might have had one given his occupation if he did die in 1905.
