Hello
I have been given a 1960's photograph of my Dad's family (most of the older ones have now passed away) and I was wondering if anything could be done to improve the quality and restore the light damage to the right-hand side? This is the only photograph to show all the brothers and sisters together with their mother (my grandmother), and the only one I have of most of them, so I would love to see it looking its best!
Thanks very much for reading this.

Hi there,
I was able to fix some of the damage, but am not entirely sure how one would go about fixing the quality.
Cheers,

Thanks everyone - they're all great, much improved! Alan and Yvonne, you've even tidied up Grandma's 'coms', she'd be so pleased not to be showing her underwear any more!! She was born 5th January 1885, so this could have been taken on her eightieth birthday. She emigrated to Canada in 1948, and I think that this would have been her last visit to the UK, although she lived to the grand old age of 106!
Cheers

Thanks Irene and Caroline, two more great restores. My husband was particularly impressed by yours Caroline, because you are obviously a Man U fan!! I assume you did the restore before you watched the game this afternoon?

Sadly, being "down under" in Brisbane, we don't get any pre season matches broadcast. I'm counting the minutes to 17 August and the start of the EPL as this means we get live broadcasts again. Of course it also means no sleep when Man United are playing as the matches are invariably telecast at around 2am! They are re-played at a more reasonable hour, but by then I would have heard the result on the news or radio or some well meaning soul will tell me the score, so I stay up and watch them live! >:( ::) ;D
I did get the pleasure of seeing Man United play in Sydney a couple of weeks ago, sadly minus Rooney, but I did get to see RVP score so it was well worth the enormous slug to the hip pocket after paying for airfares, accommodation and of course the tickets for three of us!
Cheers
Caroline
